The stationmaster's house is the country's first museum of a literary hero. It was created on the basis of Alexander Pushkin's story "The Stationmaster" and is located in the village of Vyra, Gatchina District. It is an object of cultural heritage of Russia. The museum was opened on October 15, 1972 in the building of the former postal station. In the first half of the 19th century, the Belarusian postal route passed here, which connected St. Petersburg with the southern and western provinces of Russia.
