After the Straubinger Haus you walk a bit on the road before this trail takes you in the direction of the valley to the Lärchenhof golf course and on to Erpfendorf. At first you go over cow meadows and only lose a very moderate amount of altitude. Especially after rain and depending on the number of cows, the paths here can be deep and muddy. From the Gernkogel it then goes down 2km approx. 700m, the path there is correspondingly steep. Shortly before the end you come to the Gänsbach with waterfalls and water basins. here you can cool down. The climb is given above with a walking time of approx. 3 hours.
