The Christianshavn Canal has many moorings for smaller motorboats, houseboats and sailing boats. The canal is lined with trees along the streets. The harmony of the canal, boats in the water and trees along the canal creates a particularly beautiful ambience 😊 .

The Christianshavn Canal (German: Christianshavn Kanal) is a canal in the Christianshavn district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from northeast to southwest and divides the district along its length. In the north it connects to Trangraven, the canal that separates Christianshavn from Holmen; in the south it makes an angular curve and flows into the main harbor just north of the Langebro Bridge. In the middle, the Christianshavn Canal is crossed by Børnehusbroen. This bridge is part of Torvegade, Christianshavn's main thoroughfare, which connects the city center via Knippelsbro in the northwest to Amager in the southeast. The only other bridge crossing the canal is Snorrebroen, which is further north.

Christianshavn's canal is known for its lively sailing community, with numerous houseboats and sailing boats, especially in the northern half of the canal.
