Long section of gravel road that starts in an open valley and as you climb up the valley closes in around you. A number of campsite spots along the route, private mountain huts and running water. Section was ridden June 2022. was about -2 snow storm but the road was completely rideable but a few washouts on the road would mean cars couldn't access. Plan accordingly as I didn't see anyone else until dropping into Dombas.

The most scenic route in the area. Great views on the entire route. A lot of great spots to camp down by the river.

Grimsdalen is very easy to cycle from Folldal. Only moderate gradients (except for the steep final climb), beautifully quiet valley. Various tent pitches, some with toilets, are signposted. Beautiful!
