The Urrekoatxa limestone ridge, or Urragiko Atxa, rises gracefully between the Dima and Arratia valleys, constituting the most visible peak of the Ugatxa mountain range, which runs south to meet the Gorbea massif. Despite its modest height, it offers a peculiar point of view, with magnificent views of numerous surrounding peaks, many of them larger. Its access, extremely simple, allows you to improvise some variants and shortcuts, and visit the nearby summit of Illumbe, another small but attractive viewpoint facing north.
