Lucmabamba is a small town with a welcoming climate, full of sunshine and lush vegetation, the ideal location to produce a premium coffee with an exquisite aroma and flavour, harvested at an altitude of 2,100 metres. Here are numerous campsites and coffee and avocado plantations. Nearby, along the road to Machu Picchu, is the Temple of the Moon, an ancient Inca ceremonial temple. Camping here usually means witnessing the coffee making process and, of course, tasting great coffee.
