Ivanščica - the top of Ivanščica
KT HPO 3.4., 1060 m
The top of Ivanščica is the highest point of Hrvatsko zagorje and also the widest lookout point on the mountain Ivanščica. The top part of Ivanščica is occupied by a number of buildings for various purposes, so the top has almost no natural features. The first, wooden pyramid at the top was erected in 1893, and today at the highest point stands an iron lookout pyramid 10 m high. About 100 m sz. from it is the mountain lodge Josip Pasarić, and next to it a 60 m high television transmitter. On the north. on the side there is a gazebo with a view to the north and west. In the top part there are several more ski facilities and an abandoned ski lift.
Vista
From the top you can see the whole of Zagorje. On clear days, you can see the Kamnik and Julian Alps in Slovenia

All access roads are equally suitable for climbing, but it should be taken into account that they are relatively long and that after rain they can be muddy and slippery. In general, one should know that the ascents on the north side of the mountain are steeper, and on the south they are milder but longer. Poppy. the road leading to the top starts in the village of Prigorac near Ivanec.
