We will come across Maryáška if we follow the red sign from Štěpánov nad Svratkou in the direction of Pivonice, near Jahodná hill. The place for the well was probably not chosen ideally. It is mostly water-free and, even by local standards, has a very low bicarbonate content of 6 - 25 mg/l and a low pH value. If it has water, the conductivity is 240 - 270 uS/cm and the calcium and magnesium content is only up to 35 mg/l. On the other hand, it contains 20 - 30 mg/l of nitrates and chlorides and twice as much of sulfates. A low pH value will also affect the dissolution of silicon oxide, which is why its content in water is even 30 mg/l. The well has recently been repaired and therefore also fulfills an aesthetic function. In the vicinity are the romantic ruins of Zubštejn, Aueršperk and Pyšolec. At the beginning of the 70s of the last century, when we built the well, there was always water there. That is, if it is in its original place today. There used to be an inscription on the well: "Drink - sit - do not harm". Pavel Zeman May 2022 - the well has a little water, it would need to clean and deepen the place to collect the water. In an emergency, water could be collected
