Klostermühle and Mahlweiher Heiligkreuztal
Built around 1470 as a massive building with stepped gable. The water wheel of the monastery mill, which was shut down in the first half of the 19th century, is still there. The former Cistercian monastery complex, which has been lovingly restored and is predominantly in the late Gothic style, is well worth seeing.
Today it is used as a spiritual center and educational institution of the Stefanus community with its own annual program and is open to guest groups. Monastery tours by arrangement. Monastery festival in summer.

Ideal to take a break from everyday life. Another delicacy is the lakeside restaurant "Klosterhof" with its beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. There you can refresh yourself with cool drinks and excellent food. A real treat are the cakes baked by the owner himself. In addition a coffee and there are no more wishes left.
