The mountain chain of the 'Auriol Range' stretches from Haines Junction in the north to British Columbia in the south. The eastern boundary of the range is the valley of the Dezadeash River and Lake and the west is the 'Alsek River'. 'Alsek Peak' in the south is the highest elevation at approx. 2,720 m, in the north there are several peaks of 'Mount Martha Black' - 2,512 m.
