Since its origins, El Provencio has been an important enclave marked out on roads and ravines between the center and the east. A must-stop place for the diligences, which they used to eat and spend the night in one of the inns that made the town famous.
Today, maintaining this spirit of welcoming the traveler, we find in the Casa de la Cultura the headquarters of the El Provencio Tourist Office, which will publicize everything that El Provencio can offer.
Here we find three museums: the Ethnographic Museum, a memory of life in another time in the town, the Paleolithic Museum that collects the remains of the lithic industry extracted from the different deposits found in the term of El Provencio and the Exhibition of the Mill with the machinery of one of the few flour mills powered by a diesel engine.
