Well-restored historic mill in a picturesque location on the Steinau. Also a good place for a little rest to look at the rushing stream from the bridge. This relaxes spontaneously and brings back used energy.
The Steinau has great potential for fish and invertebrate aquatic organisms and since September 2008 continuity at the Pötrauer Mühle near Büchen has been restored.
After giving up the use of the mill and the fish ponds above
a continuous river bed in place of the mill jam and crash
and a running stream above from the formerly dammed muddy stream
to be developed.
