Recently built, this alpine refuge is located near the Cornetto di Confine (or Markinkele in German) and is an excellent point for refreshment. It offers dining, traditional cuisine and sleeping accommodation. You can book a room or contact the refuge via their website: marchhuette.it/it/home.

From the Marchhütte, the refuge on the Marchkinkele, which only opened in 2021, you have a wonderful view of the Sexten Dolomites. A stop is definitely worth it, nice service, drinks and good snacks at a fair price. There are sockets for the e-mountain bike.

Directly at the Marchinkele summit, an old army bunker was turned into this new hut. It is not yet shown on many maps in 2021.
There is hot food and rooms.
The view is magnificent.
There is no alternative far and wide. A nice way to avoid having to get off on the Ace of Hearts Tour or the Osttirol 360Grad Tour.
