Adelebsen Castle is a castle complex that has grown structurally over the centuries, which makes it particularly interesting.
There are so many beautiful different impressions that you almost think you have visited different castles. 😉
The entire complex looks very well maintained and can be visited from the outside.

The Lords of Wibbecke moved to Adelebsen in the early 13th century and built a castle there, after which they named themselves and which appears for the first time in 1329 as the "hus to Adelevessen".

The place and the castle are very beautiful. The mighty tower is one of the largest towers of the Middle Ages in Europe and absolutely worth seeing, even if it is a bit smaller today.
Personally, I like Adelebsen Castle very much. I think it's nice that there are still private lords who make their castle available to the public.
