In 2005, the Trianon monument was unveiled in the village. The center is decorated with an andesite statue of Bálint Balassi, who worked in the village, and works by György Ferencz and here
by the Grand Caputians. The village is also connected to the neighboring Malý Trakani by a bicycle path
There used to be a port on the outskirts of the village where ships and rafts carrying salt from the Eastern Carpathians docked. Near the port there was a salt farm with a salt office building - salt house, salt warehouses or workers' quarters. At this point, the building of the Salt Office has been preserved to this day. It is a late Baroque monument from the 18th century, which underwent extensive reconstruction in 2004-2005. It is currently open to the general public.
