The site of the mass execution of 112 prisoners from the Sanok prison on July 5/6, 1940 is located on the right side of the road when traveling from Tarnawa to Huzele. On the night of July 5/6, 1940, the Nazis carried out a mass execution of prisoners from the Sanok prison. The victims are patriots who tried to get to Hungary (via the green border) - and further to the West to continue the fight. The victims were also people cooperating in the organization of transfer routes and other people involved in the fight against the fascist occupier. A total of 112 people were murdered.
