Was built in 1730 and is now located directly on the Franconian Mountain Hiking Trail.
Flour was produced here until the mid-1970s. After the last master miller died, the mill stood empty for many years until a mill enthusiast restored it. In 2009, the mill was awarded the Monument Prize.
On Whit Monday, the doors of the Markmühle are open to visitors for a whole day. There will be live music, grilled food, coffee and cake, and free tours of the mill.
