Alatskivi Castle (Estonian: Alatskivi loss, German: Schloss Allatzkiwwi) is a neo-Gothic castle in Alatskivi, Estonia. It dates back to the 17th century and is located in the Peipsiääre Parish in Tartu County. It was rebuilt in the late 19th century by Baron Arved von Nolcken, modeled on the royal residence of Balmoral in Scotland. Renovations took place between 2005 and 2011. Five rooms on the first floor house the Eduard Tubin Museum, which documents his work as a composer and conductor.
Alatskivi Castle is surrounded by various outbuildings and a 130-hectare wooded park, the largest in Tartu County. The park features numerous oaks, ash trees, maples, alders, and a linden-lined access road (Wikipedia).
