Despite its fairly recent-looking front, partly due to the door and the white front, with the sides and back somewhat hidden by hedges, this Pieta chapel is said to be quite old. Unfortunately, I have not (yet) been able to find any details about its precise origin, even after two visits.

Before the current glass door was installed, there was one made of wood with a window at the top. The front of the chapel was also white then, but not as pure as it is now, and you could clearly see the building blocks.
