Neo-Gothic church of St. Our Lady Help of the Faithful (called "upper") is an important element of the urban composition of Twardogóra, it is located in the center of the so-called Upper Market Square - now Piast Square. Nearby there are buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The temple was built in 1874-1875 of raw facing brick with stone elements on the existing old foundations. Originally an Evangelical church. After World War II, it was given over to the function of a Roman Catholic church. In 1989, the interior of the church was thoroughly renovated. The roof is covered with copper sheet, gabled over the nave and transept arms, with desktop over the side annexes. Spire cupola on the tower, octagonal, covered with copper sheet. Currently, the church is developed and used as intended. The Marian Sanctuary with the statue of the Mother of God famous for its graces is a place of numerous pilgrimages
