As soon as you reach San Donà, crossing the bridge over the Piave river, you can immediately see it on the right: a spontaneous park of over six hectares which is the first important visiting card of the city. Destination throughout the year for citizens, who reach it very easily being a few hundred meters from the center of San Donà, as well as for tourists and river fishing enthusiasts, over the years it has become a naturalistic island of great beauty . The environment presents glimpses of considerable charm, beautiful clearings and a particularly valuable woodland heritage.
The birth of the Park as such dates back to 1975, and the conservation works over the years have respected that spontaneous and certainly not artificial aspect that make this area a very pleasant oasis. The Park, gently lying on the right bank of the Piave, is well integrated into the urban context that the lively city of San Donà has been able to keep graceful and on a human scale over time, despite having become the de facto cultural and economic pole of the Lower Piave .
