The listed clock tower is the landmark of the municipality of Neu-Bamberg. It was once one of the three gates of the town's fortifications. The village owes its origins to the New Baumburg (Novo Boinburc), founded in 1253 by the Raugraves, whose ruins still dominate the townscape today. Restored half-timbered houses, farmsteads, gardens, and the old water tower lend the village center on the castle hill its unique charm.
