The forest nature trail starts directly at the Herrnsheim bathing lake (free parking is available from September to May, in summer it is rather difficult due to the use of the swimming pool). Through the landscape of the floodplain forest you can explore nature on a 3 km long round. Various color charts convey knowledge about flora and fauna. The short hike is especially suitable for children. With the stroller, the circuit is difficult. Many native birds and insects can be observed. There is also seating for a picnic in the shade. In the vicinity there are many gastronomic offers. Especially the nearby Herrnsheimer castle park is recommended here.

Recommended as a cozy evening round if you live nearby. Can also be easily combined with the Herrnsheimer Schlosspark.
In summer it looks rather bad because of the swimming lake with parking spaces.
