Around 1860 The landowners Čechavičiai bought the chapel, which was built in 1776, from Count S. Pliateri. In Sudota, they moved it and built it in Račkiškė. The chapel is related to 1863. rebellion. Weapons were hidden in it. An iron cross has been raised on the tower in memory of the uprising - it's like three sunken swords. in 1976 the chapel was moved to the Household Museum in Rumšiškės.
