The Pilgrim's Registry is a place where pilgrims who have completed at least the last 100 kilometers on foot or the last 200 kilometers by bicycle of the Camino de Santiago can register their pilgrimage. It is an official document that accredits the completion of the Camino and that is given to pilgrims in recognition of their achievement.

At the Pilgrim's Registry, pilgrims must present their pilgrim's credential, which is a special passport that is stamped at each stage of the Camino to demonstrate that they have traveled the required distance. In addition, they are asked for basic information, such as their name, nationality and reason for the pilgrimage.

Once registered, the pilgrims receive the Compostela, a Latin certificate issued by the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, which accredits their pilgrimage. The Compostela is a spiritual and symbolic recognition that can have a special meaning for those who do the Camino for religious or personal reasons.
