The harbor is about 1.5 to 2 kilometers from the actual place. It consists of two docks and a row of houses. There is also a restaurant that is open in the off-season only on weekends.
The harbor itself is very small but idyllic.

The Port of Ouddorp is a port south of the village center of Ouddorp located on the Grevelingenmeer. The harbor was built in 1860 and 1861 to replace the silting Kilhaven, which was located further west.

In the mid-19th century, fishing became more important to the village. Until then, Ouddorp had mainly been an agricultural village. There were fishermen who pulled their ships onto the beach at Visschershoek. On August 8, 1860, the construction was put out to public tender at the town hall of Ouddorp by mayor Bernardus Pieter van Kerkwijk. After the harbor was constructed, a brushwood quay was constructed. Buildings soon sprang up along the quay, a row of houses with warehouses and two cafes, all of which were demolished in 1944 by order of the German occupier.
