In the 14th and 15th centuries, the castle, town and rule of Bieberstein belonged to the marshals of Bieberstein. Bieberstein remained in the possession of this family until 1602, which still exists today under the name of Baron Marschall von Bieberstein. From the castle, of which the medieval square tower still reminds us by name, today's castle developed. Unfortunately, it is currently not open to the public.
