The Archcathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Warsaw, located in the Old Town of Warsaw at ul. Świętojańska 8. It is one of the oldest churches in Warsaw. Originally, it was named after the Beheading of St. John the Baptist, and currently the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist.

The cathedral is located on John Street between the Old Town Square and the Castle Square in the old town. At the end of the 13th century, a wooden church was built on the site of the current cathedral, which became the parish church of Warsaw in 1339. It also became important as the burial place of the Dukes of Mazovia. Duke Janusz therefore had the wooden church replaced with a Gothic stone building in 1390. A little later, in 1406, it became a collegiate church. Several reconstructions and extensions followed, during which the church received a new baroque façade, among other things, while the Gothic cube of a hall church was largely retained.
