A very beautiful varied climb, a large pass that we take the time to appreciate.
First of all a few km along the Lac du Verney, before attacking the first part of the climb, a little austere, in the forest, up to the Rivier d'Allemont. Follow 3 (too) small rolling km, and four hairpins, which allow you to reach Eau d'Olle (bridge). Then come the most difficult percentages, 7 km of sustained climb to the Grand'Maison dam. Then the slope calms down, the landscape opens up frankly, and changes character, in the middle of the mountain pastures.
Don't forget the short round trip to the Col du Glandon!
