Sandside Harbour is a pretty little spot with a small beach consisting of pale sands and rocky patches backed by dunes and grassland.
It is located close to the decommissioned Dounreay Nuclear Power Station and signs warn that radioactive particles have been found in the sands, so it may be better to admire this beach from the harbour than go exploring.
