인젤스베르크샨체는 1905년 2월 14일에 설립된 겨울 스포츠 클럽 브로터로데(Wintersportverein Brotterode)에 의해 1920–1923년에 건설되었으며, 2003–2005년에는 K-105미터 스키 점프대로 재건축되었습니다. 브로터로데의 상징으로서 매년 이곳에서 FIS 스키 점프 대륙컵이 개최됩니다.

The Inselbergschanze (also called Inselsbergschanze) is located at Brotterode in the western part of the Thuringian Forest opposite the eponymous Großer Inselsberg in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen. The large hill has a construction point (K point) of 105 meters and a hill size (HS) of 117 meters, the hill record is 123.5 meters. The ski jump was built from 1920 to 1924, expanded and modernized several times and has been one of the largest and now the oldest in Germany since it was founded. Continental Cup competitions have been held there regularly since 1995 (Wikipedia).
