The town hall of Hannoversch Münden looks back on a centuries-old history. The foundation stone was laid as early as the 14th century. When Hannoversch Münden introduced staple rights in the 17th century and all traders who traveled to Werra and Fulda had to offer their goods for sale in Hannoversch Münden for a fee, the city was in full bloom. Accordingly, the town hall was expanded to its current form in the style of the Weser Renaissance.

In addition to parts of the city administration, the registry office is housed here today. You will also find the Ratsbrauhaus here in the basement.

The tourist information is also located in the building.
