At Elk City State Park you will find camping, water access, and numerous trail systems that wind through limestone bluffs, forests of oak and hickory, and prairie grasses.
The portion of the Table Mound Trail closest to the State Park follows a difficult route along an old road for 0.15 miles, beyond which the trail becomes much easier.
