We were told that it is the second-largest monastery in the world in terms of area. It was a good thing, as it hasn't been a monastery for more than 200 years. A foundation has preserved the exterior structure (roof, stability). Renovation is now taking place inside. The abbot's chamber and dining room are already finished, and the library is under construction. It's absolutely worth taking a guided tour of the monastery's interior.
