    The Spaten Garden at Freischütz in Dortmund offers an attractive mix of traditional Bavarian hospitality and a wide range of culinary offerings. Opening times vary depending on the season.

    In winter, the spade garden is transformed into a so-called "winter forest", where guests can enjoy winter delicacies such as kale stew, pea stew or fresh potato pancakes. Curling is also offered, and from the end of November you can even buy Christmas trees there.

    The menu at the Spaten-Garten is rich and varied. It offers a selection of soups, starters, main courses and desserts. Some of the highlights are the carrot and sweet potato soup, lamb's lettuce with fried goose liver, various schnitzel variations, and classic apple strudel.

    Reservations are possible for groups of 8 people or more, with a minimum consumption of €10 per person expected. Guests can also bring their own grilled food and grill it on the swivel grills provided.
