    Superb waterfall near the village of Grand Bassin. It is the water that flows from this waterfall and forms a basin that gave the name to the islet.

    Only accessible on foot via a rough path, this place is ideal for cooling off.

      The waterfall in the Grand Bassin can only be reached on foot and is not very busy. The path is very rocky and steep, the river bed must also be crossed, but it is definitely worth it. Don't forget your bathing suit and picnic

        I used to live there..
        What a wonderful spot.
        Not for everyone.. really steep, steps height completely irregular.
        Dangerous under wet weather.
        BUT UNFORGETTABLE =-)

            Amazing hike. Definitely need good shoes as it’s rocky and not super stable, but worth it. Highly recommend even booking a “gite” (like an Airbnb) to eat local food and spend a night!

              Wonderful waterfall close to the hamlet of Grand Bassin. Come here to relax during the summer months, you will find for sure some freshness and a place to rest.

                Ideal !!
                I've seen families do it.
                But the ascent is quite steep and hard for children (especially when it starts to rain. Or very hot)
                The Cascade is worth the elevation gain..
