This road is closed! We drove in with the gates open and then turned around at the next locked gate. When we got back to the gate 10 minutes later, it was locked too and we had to lift the bike sideways over the fence! Absolutely not recommended!

CAUTION: Two gates were closed, so I pushed and carried my bike over the steep hills on the sides, a few hundred meters from the gate, and then somehow made my way back cross-country to the trail, and also to the second gate. You CAN do it, but I'd recommend a tour without gates.
Lots of prohibition signs. And then a third gate, which you could just walk around. I thought the counterclockwise tour, as indicated, was GREAT!!!
October 19, 2025. Bring enough water, salt, apple juice, etc. If necessary, wet yourself with water rather than trying to cool yourself by sweating.
