The Collegiate Notre-Dame and Saint-Domitian was built in the Mosan Gothic style on the banks of the Meuse in several phases from 1311 to 1536. Five consecutive places of worship are said to have been built here since the 4th century. Of the fourth Romanesque church, which Theoduin of Bavaria built around 1066, there is still a crypt, which is accessible from the right aisle of the college.

The collegiate church, which has been built for more than two centuries, harmoniously combines the radiant Gothic style of the 14th century with the extravagant Gothic of the 15th century. The peculiarity of this building is the presence of three square towers: a larger tower on the Meuse side and two twin towers on the city side.

Particularly noteworthy: the imposing gate of Bethlehem. The work, probably from the 14th century, is divided into three parts. The left side: the birth and the announcement to the shepherds. The central part: the massacre of the innocent. The right part: the adoration of the Magi.
