The Brighton Lanes are the original town center of the former fishing village of Brightelmstone and invite you with their cute charm somewhere between a village pub and a fashion boutique, cafés and street musicians. A maze of alleys that puts you in a good mood and is completely different to all the other sights in Brighton.

How has he not been called everything: "Man of Sorrows", "Priest of Melancholy", "Lazarus"... and here, unfortunately, the greatest tragedy of his life also hit him: his 15-year-old son fell from the cliffs. Nick Cave fell silent for a while. No one knew if and how the Bad Seeds would continue. Then Warren Ellis, his congenial partner, Dervish on stage, got a call from Nick Cave, who sang him a first variant of a new song on tape. It goes on. And then one of his most touching albums followed: Skeleton Tree. He no longer lives here, he only encounters grief everywhere. To put it with empathy: That's too much even for a man of sorrows.
