This part of the road is currently (04/2023) under construction. At the minute no tarmac and very bumpy, especially after the rain. Positive: Barely any cars and beautiful surroundings! Plan enough time in if you are coming this way!

Update 08/25: The stretch is still dirt and gravel until Chumateleti. It looks like it will still take a long time to pave it, make it beautiful, and rideable.

Update from November 2024: still under construction, and still very bumpy and muddy! There were people working along the road, but it seems like it will be a long time until there is tarmac. Also, the section is longer than the segment highlighted here, from Marelisi to where it joins the E60 is completely unpaved, about 32km. It's slow going, but very beautiful!
