      The path is only about 2km. long. Above you walk on pleasant meadow paths and through forest. Benches invite you to rest. Downstairs, that's where most of the signs are, on asphalt.

        As part of the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Geopark, a "Jockel circular trail" was created around the home village of the "Raubacher Jockel." Along the way, you'll find many panels with Jockel stories, including the legendary encounter with the Count of Erbach-Fürstenau. Quote: "And when you're the count, you had to get up your hump, then run and run, otherwise you'll never end your life in Raubach." (Source: raubacher-hoehe.de/restaurant-pension-biergarten/raubacher-jockel/) However, we never would have thought that we'd find a charging station for our weekend electric car with a friendly resident in the village of Raubach, with fewer than 100 inhabitants. So, off we went along the Jockel trail, stopping at the quaint "Raubacher Höhe" inn at the end to fill up the tank. Enjoy!
