The Jewish Museum in Rendsburg is one of the first Jewish museums founded in the Federal Republic after the Second World War. It provides insight into the history of the Jews in Schleswig-Holstein, the Jewish religion and identity. In addition, it shows works by selected Jewish artists. The museum is located in the oldest surviving synagogue in Schleswig-Holstein and thus not only an exhibition house, but also a historic monument and a memorial.
