The castle garden of Neuenbürg Castle was designed as a pleasure garden in the Renaissance style.

The castle garden was created around 1620 by leveling the forest between the old castle ruins and the new castle. The garden was surrounded by walls and laid out as a pleasure garden in the Renaissance style. From the 18th century onwards, the castle garden was used as the forester's private garden. Since 1975, the garden in Neuenbürg Castle has been open to the public as a park; because of the fruit trees, the park is also known as the cherry orchard near Neuenbürg.

Today, festivals and events take place in the castle garden; in the medieval world Spectaculum, visitors are entertained by jugglers, axe throwers, storytellers, swordsmen, stilt walkers and fire-breathers. Old, almost forgotten trades such as soap makers, blacksmiths and basket weavers show their craft and offer leather goods and jewellery to visitors who are willing to buy. A spectacle that you simply have to experience.
