Altomonte is a municipality in the province of Cosenza located on a promontory 455 meters high. The historic center deserves a stroll to visit various monuments of artistic and cultural interest, including the church of Santa Maria della Consolazione, the church of San Francesco di Paola, the Dominican convent and the Norman tower.
