Lourdes is world famous for its chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes. Thousands of pilgrims go there every year.
The city is mainly built around its religious heritage. However, it is located at the foot of some beautiful peaks which offer lovely views of the Pyrenees chain. Lourdes is also crossed by the GR 101 trail.
