The Schweidrich (Czech rarely Švajdrich) (457 m), also called Grohmannhöhe (Czech Grohmanova výšina) and Wilder-Mann-Berg (Czech Kopec divého muže), is a mountain in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers south of the city center of Šluknov in the Bohemian Lowlands in the southern Lusatian Uplands (Šluknovská pahorkatina). Along with Pirsken, it was one of the centers of Schluckenau mining since the late Middle Ages. Developed at the end of the 19th century with a lookout tower and an inn, the Schweidrich was the main excursion destination for the citizens of Schluckenau, along with Bad Karlthal, until the First World War. The network of hiking trails over the mountain that existed until after the Second World War no longer exists today. (Source: Wikipedia)
