    The Perus lake is located at the pass of the same name (1300 m) which connects the San Martino Valley and the Imagna Valley. The name is in Bergamo dialect and means "hole", indicating a rather narrow passage.

              We can get to the Laghetto del Pertus from various roads, we got there, with gravel bikes and generous tyres, from Via Boccio passing through Carenno and following the mule track that goes into the woods. The lake is located in the Forcella Alta, just below Monte Tesoro (1431 m), which acts as a watershed between Val S. Martino (LC) and Valle Imagna (BG). From the Pertus lake there are several paths for trekking lovers but also simple walks suitable for children including the climb to Monte Tesoro at 1432 metres.
