The Adelantado forest is a small redoubt of Canarian laurel forest located in the municipality of La Esperanza, between the old town hall building and the parish church. The forest was cleared to use the land for agricultural purposes. This part could be preserved (and later recovered) thanks to the fact that the residents used this little piece of ravine to stock up on firewood and wood.

In the municipality of La Esperanza is the Adelantado forest, a small remnant of the Canarian laurel forest. The forest is located between the old town hall and the parish church and was once cleared for agricultural purposes. However, this part of the forest could be preserved (and later rediscovered) because the locals used it as a storage place for firewood and wood.
