The aim of monument preservation is to preserve the garden complex, which was conceived in the Weimar Republic but designed and built under National Socialism, as a testimony to the times. It is being treated in a conservational sense. In the western part of the Richard-Wagner-Hain, the pergola and the terrace walls have already been renovated in accordance with the preservation order; in 2022 the grand staircase and the bastions will follow. The renovation measures of the 2020s were financed with funds from the federal government, the Free State of Saxony and the city of Leipzig...."!
