It rises majestically in the Plaza de España. This Latin cross temple has a single nave covered by a decorated barrel vault. The choir is made up of small lowered vaults supported by stone pilasters with a railing made of the same material. Inside, some elements of great artistic quality stand out, such as the Baroque altarpieces and the neoclassical-inspired main altar that contains a pictorial work of the Immaculate Conception, the work of Zacarías González Velázquez (1763-1834), chamber painter of Carlos IV, together with Goya, and director of the San Fernando Academy of Fine Arts.
The baroque organ from 1783 is also of interest. Carved in gilded and polychrome wood, it has recently been restored and is incorporated into the Historic Organs Route of the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board.
